14.6Delete a team
What is deleted#
- All monitors and their data: check results, incidents and the notification history.
- All alert channels.
- All secrets.
- All API keys. They stop working.
- All maintenance windows.
- The status page. Its public address stops working.
- The team's settings, including its alert defaults.
Deleting the team cancels its paid plan. Browser runs over your plan's allowance that were not billed yet are still charged.
Members lose access to this team. Their accounts and their other teams are not affected.
Before you delete#
- Stop the jobs that send heartbeat pings. Their ping addresses stop working (chapter 5).
- Update any scripts that use the team's API keys.
- Remove obsrvly webhooks that other systems rely on (chapter 11).
- Note down anything you want to keep, such as monitor settings.
Delete the team#
- Select billing, then team.
- In the team window, choose to delete the team.
- Confirm.
