4.8TLS days until expiry (API only)
Type: tls.days_until_expiry. Checks: the number of whole days left on the site's TLS certificate. A TLS certificate is what makes an https:// address secure. Part days round down: 23 hours and 59 minutes left counts as 0 days. If the address redirects, it is the certificate of the final response.
It works on URL, API and multi-step API monitors. You add it through the API. The dashboard does not offer it, but keeps it when you edit the monitor.
Operators: usually gt. Also lt, eq, neq.
| Type | Operator | Value | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
tls.days_until_expiry | gt | 30 | Down when 30 days or fewer are left. |
tls.days_until_expiry | gt | 14 | Down when 14 days or fewer are left. |
{"type": "tls.days_until_expiry",
"op": "ASSERTION_OP_GT", "value": "14"}When it fails: assertion tls.days_until_expiry > 14: got 9. On a plain http:// address you see assertion tls.days_until_expiry: no TLS connection (HTTP request?).
